Sarah Kocianski is back in the hosting seat this week, joined by guests: Jonathan Roomer, CFO and Co-Founder of Yulife and Oliver Ralph, Insurance Correspondant at the FT.
We kick things off with a roundtable discussion on life insurance, before the deep dive the panel sets out the many different types of life insurance and which ones are most common and relevant to customers. Then they take a look at when and why people take out life insurance in the first place, what solutions are they looking for, and do customers even know what sort of insurance they need? They examine why the price comparison sites haven't been able to crack life insurance in the same way as other sectors and what technology is disrupting life insurance as a whole. Rounding out the discussion the panel discusses what the future of life insurance looks like and what it's heading towards at the moment.
Sarah also met with Adam Erlebacher, CEO and Co-Founder of Fabric at Insurtech Insights to interview him on life insurance. Sarah then has another interview at the 11:FS offices with David Vanek, CEO and Co-Founder of Anorak to get even more insight into the sector.
